Martin Picherer is Counsel at Schindler Attorneys, specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes and corporate governance. His practice also focuses on advising family-owned businesses and family offices on succession planning, family governance and real estate transactions.
Martin combines extensive legal expertise with first-hand entrepreneurial and management experience. After starting his career at Haarmann Hemmelrath, he joined the family office of an Austrian entrepreneurial family in 2006 and subsequently served on the Management Board of Leica Camera AG.
Since 2011, Martin has worked with family offices in Southern Germany, including in executive management and co-investment roles. He also serves on supervisory and advisory boards.
Martin studied law at the Universities of Augsburg and Erlangen-Nuremberg and obtained his doctorate in 2001.
