Schindler Attorneys advised FUJIFILM on the acquisition of local distribution companies in Austria and Slovenia

Schindler Attorneys advised FUJIFILM Europe B.V., headquartered in the Netherlands, on its acquisition of 100% of FUJIFILM Austria GmbH, headquartered in Vienna, and IMAGE & INFORMATION, trgovsko podjetje d.o.o., headquartered in Ljubljana. The sellers were Ms. Ingeborg Marko and Dr. Christiane Marko, as well as DMI Verwaltungs- und BeteiligungsgmbH, based in Vienna, which they own.

The FUJIFILM Group, headquartered in Japan, is a global, publicly traded technology conglomerate whose business activities are divided into three main business segments: “Imaging Solutions,” “Document Solutions,” and “Healthcare & Material Solutions.” Specifically, FUJIFILM Austria GmbH distributes medical systems (X-ray systems, X-ray film, mammography systems, medical IT systems, CT/MRI imaging systems, ultrasound systems) and photography products for consumers (Instax cameras and film, photographic film) and business customers (color photo paper). The Slovenian sales company IMAGE & INFORMATION, trgovsko podjetje d.o.o., operates within the “Healthcare & Material Solutions” business unit.
