Schindler Attorneys Advised Asker HealthCare Group on the Acquisition of the Heintel Group

Schindler Attorneys advised the Sweden-based Asker HealthCare Group on its first acquisition in Austria—the purchase of 100% of the Heintel Group. The transaction closed on October 3, 2022.

The Asker HealthCare Group (“Asker”), headquartered in Sweden, comprises more than 30 companies in 14 countries and employs approximately 2,000 people. It provides medical supplies, devices, and equipment to healthcare providers and patients. Asker is indirectly controlled by Nalka Invest AB, a Swedish investment company, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Interogo Holding AG. The acquisition of the Heintel Group is part of the Asker Group’s business strategy to further expand its activities in the field of medical care internationally.

Heintel is a wholesale distributor of hospital equipment and supplies in Austria with a broad product range. The Heintel Group has been owned by the Heintel/Pöltenstein family for over 100 years.
