Drawing on our extensive experience, we draft codes of conduct and internal guidelines and assist clients in developing and updating their compliance policies and procedures.
A critical step in implementing an effective compliance program is appropriate training. We provide tailored trainings and workshops to ensure that employees understand the importance of compliance in their day-to-day business and know how to apply relevant rules and internal policies in practice. We also support clients in creating eLearning programs.
We support clients during dawn raids and searches by public prosecutors, Austrian competition authorities or the European Commission. We also provide tailor-made training and structured guidelines to prepare employees for such searches and conduct mock dawn raids to test whether existing procedures and staff are prepared for a real-life situation.
In cases of suspected violations of internal or external rules and regulations, we conduct internal investigations and, where necessary, cooperate with data forensics and other specialists to establish the facts. Together with our Employment Law and Corporate teams, we assess appropriate measures to minimize the negative impact of compliance violations on the company.
We advise clients on implementing effective whistleblower solutions in accordance with applicable whistleblower legislation. Our work includes establishing appropriate reporting channels and internal processes for handling reported infringements, helping clients ensure that disclosures are managed effectively and efficiently.
